Food, Fun and Fellowship
We believe that the best way to get to know God and how God works in the world is to be involved in community -- both inside the walls of the church, and outside the walls of the church. Along with various special worship services and other events throughout the year [check the calendar for the most recent updates], these are the things we do on a regular basis.
Women of all ages are welcome to join us at our quarterly women's tea as we talk about what it means to be a woman of faith in today's world.
As a celebration before entering the season of Lent, we'll have a pancake dinner to celebrate Mardi Gras. The church is decorated in green, yellow and purple and we have a party!
On the Tuesday of Holy Week week we host a Seder
Grace is free. Why not a car wash? It's one of our favorite events. Free ice cream, too!
Every year we have a booth at the Pueblo Pride festival. Stop by and say "Hi."
School Supply Drive
Milagro seems to attract teachers! So every August we collect backpacks and school supplies and give them to the kids they have identified as having the most need. If you would like to donate supplies [or cash] send us an email or call the church at 545-6400.
In the early fall we have a church picnic at City Park. Lots of fun, fellowship, and games.
Pueblo Light Parade
We put together a float, and ride down Union Avenue with dozens of other floats and thousands of other people and usher in the Holiday season.
Join us for a worship/communion service built around the music of U2. The offering collected will be donated to an organization supported by U2 that offers AIDS relief.
